Long before Oracle Park, Salesforce Tower and the myriad of luxury high rise residences in San Francisco’s buzzing SoMa district, there was Pazzia Restaurant and Pizzeria.
In 1998, owner Massimo Ballerini, used his years of experience in the hospitality industry to do something extraordinary - he established a truly authentic Tuscan restaurant serving up exceptional Italian fare with all the charm and allure of his native Florentine neighborhood of San Frediano.
Located in the heart of what was then considered the city’s industrial warehouse district, tucked away on Third Street at Folsom Street, Pazzia quickly became a local favorite as well as a destination spot for those “in the know”.
Twenty years later, Massimo and his contemporary yet warm and rustic restaurant remain true to the original mission – by providing guests the unique dining experience that sets it apart from the rest. From the phenomenal thin crust pizza, fresh house made pasta and seasonal specialties, to the creative cocktails, classic aperitivi and energetic and friendly staff, Pazzia is the perfect spot for a family gathering, an office function or a delicious dining experience with friends.
Pazzia offers indoor and outdoor seating and is available for private parties and special events.
